Central Florida Recovery Resource Meetings

The Central Florida Recovery Resource Network meeting hosted by Sunrise Detox in Orlando. Don't miss the next one!

There are over 2 MILLION people in the greater Orlando region, including literally THOUSANDS of professionals working in the treatment industry. This includes rehabilitation (inpatient and outpatient drug rehab, alcohol rehab), medical detox, recovery (outpatient and inpatient treatment including OP, PHP, and IOP), as well as sober housing, assisted housing, and prevention efforts.

How does one keep track of all that is happening, the industry developments, opening and closing of treatment centers and facilities, opportunities for grants, scholarships, awards?

Q: How does one stay connected to this large community involved in the Orlando region's treatment industry?

On July 22 Stephanie Lewis of Sunrise Detox Orlando hosted the first Central Florida Recovery Resource Meeting, at the new Sunrise Detox facility on West Sand Lake Road. This was the first bi-monthly networking event for local treatment industry professionals.

After the meetup we gathered for the essential inaugural meetup "selfie", to record forever our efforts to meet and greet, network, share information about resources and opportunities, and help keep all of us up to date on the latest in our hyper local communities , treatment centers, groups, and facilities.
